Can I use a clear paint over Paper on Metal?

I have a bicycle I painted (used real spray gun, and was a good job) I want to put a decal on it, so... If I print out a symbol, can I put it on, have it stivk with like some wet paint, then spray over it with a clear coat,, will that work? I dont want to go buy more stuff,, all i got is normal house stuff, and paper.Can I use a clear paint over Paper on Metal?

brian t is correct - ive even seen it done with magazine pages on motorcycle tanks - cheaper than airbrushing and a real quality. remember light coats = quick dry = no run





practice on something else first so u dont wreck the paint job uve done
yes you can if it is thick whare the paper wount rinkle.i been i the body shop work`s. for 11 year`s.i paint car`s, trucks,semi`s %26amp; airplain`s. appaly a few thin layer`s first so it will tack ten you can give it normal coat`s.
