I ordered some touch-up paint for my wife's '08 VW Rabbit at the dealer the other day and they gave me a stick of paint and a stick of clearcoat. Are you supposed to use the clearcoat over top of the touch-up paint after it dries, or is the stick of clearcoat for something else entirely? I've never had a dealer give me a stick of clearcoat with the touch-up paint before....?? VW Touch-up paint question - 2 sticks, 1 paint, 1 clear coat?
Use the paint to touch up the spot and let it dry. Then put the clearcoat over the spot.
