I have a jetski trailer that is fading a little. I would like to repaint it with my new HVLP spray gun. I bought some exterior 100% Acrylic Latex Exterior Enamel made by Conco. Supposed to be Contractor grade stuff. With this paint work or what kind of paint should I get?My Jetski Trailer is fading. What type of Paint/Primer/Clear do I use?
DO NOT use the Acrylic Latex paint by Conco. This is House paint. IF you want to repaint it I would buy some Implement Enamel. Basically it is a thin oil based enamel designed for Farm Machinery. It will be very durable and last a long time on a trailer. If it is only fading a little you could just buff and wax it just like you do to a car finish. This would bring back the color and shine but it sounds like you are looking for a fun project so I think you should paint it! You could also use Automotive grade paint but the costs of the materials would be ALOT higher. Good Luck and Have fun!My Jetski Trailer is fading. What type of Paint/Primer/Clear do I use?
POR15 works well and they make a clear for it. This paint is indestructible. www.por15.com
you can use any automotive paints on a trailer, the others are right, don't use a house paint.
