Why is it that all the PDF edit I do in Paint doesn't look very clear after being printed?

I have files that if I need to edit any info, I scan them (in PDF) then open in pait to do whatever edit I need.





I have then realised that they look not so clear after I print them.Why is it that all the PDF edit I do in Paint doesn't look very clear after being printed?
If you need to edit PDFs, why not use PDF Xchange?

You can add information (even if the original pdf permissions aren't right) and save it as a new pdf. Just click on the typewriter icon. No watermark either.Why is it that all the PDF edit I do in Paint doesn't look very clear after being printed?
