Can you use Transtar clear with new water borne paint?

I have a older paint gun and with the new law that just passed about the VOC and ';water borne'; paint. My question is can you still use or spray transtar clear coat with water borne paint?





Also can the older paint guns spray the new water borne paint? and then use transtar clear?

The clear doesn't change as it is still urethane solvent based, so yes you can use your transtar. You can only use your gun with water borne if it is a stainless steel gun.
