if you mean laquer( clear) well, 2 ways, best for long lasting is to spray top colour, then after an hour or so while paint is still slightly tacky spray on the clear,


another way is let paint dry completely, then sand down with 1200 wet n dry and soapy water, not too much sanding, then spray clear on top, this gives a brilliant finish, but can peel after a while, first way is how I would do it.What kind of prep to paint before you clear coat and when should you clear coat?
